About Me

Living in Chattanooga, TN, I am continuously inspired by the quiet forests, flowing waters, and ancient mountains that surround me. These spaces offer more than just material for my work; they are a reflection of my own emotional landscape, providing space for connection, introspection, and growth. Through my art, I seek to convey not only the beauty of nature but also the deep resonance I feel in these natural spaces.

For me, art is an intimate process of mindfulness, creative self-expression, and emotional discovery. The act of creating is a way for me to explore my inner world and my relationship with the environment around me. I find peace in solitude, often seeking out less-traveled natural areas within an hour’s drive from my home. These quiet spots offer me a chance to connect with both the land and myself, fostering an understanding that is both grounding and transformative.

My artistic path began in early 2020, when I started photographing the stillness of my town during the COVID-19 lockdown. I also experimented with wedding and product photography, but I soon rediscovered deep, more meaningful connections in nature. It is only in wild places that I am reminded of the delicate balance between self and surroundings. My work is a distillation of this relationship, exploring how the land, in all its complexity, mirrors the nuances of my psyche.

Now, I spend much of my time exploring nearby natural areas, hiking, and cleaning up litter, as these acts allow me to give back to the land that has given me so much. With my work, I aim to inspire others to take a moment to pause and truly notice, appreciate, and value the unique beauty of this planet and, equally important, the inherent beauty within themselves.
